Love at First Kiss review

Posted : 1 month ago on 19 March 2024 07:52 (A review of Love at First Kiss)

Despite all the bad reviews of this movie, I really liked it. I'm used to see spanish movies, so it might be the case, and the ending was not surprising (pun intended). But overall I liked the message this movie sent me - it's more fun to get surprised and not take things for granted.

Damsel review

Posted : 1 month, 1 week ago on 12 March 2024 07:22 (A review of Damsel)

They say this is a movie with a lot of plotholes and so on (and some strange "fast-travel" and speed-dating (if you have seen the movie, you know what I mean), but I was entertained aaaaaall the way. It's exciting, a little bit of horror, a little bit of Game of Thrones, we've got an ass-kicking heroine who is stunning beautiful, has brains and muscles... :)
Robin Wright is perfect as the queen, and Ray Winstone is a good cast as the father, but Millie steals every moment on screen...

Encanto review

Posted : 2 years ago on 1 April 2022 06:47 (A review of Encanto)

I'll might write one of my shortest reviews:
This was a mess - I didn't catch the plot (or the cause of it), there is a bunch of songs that I can't humm to (cause they're so "staccato"), they introduce us to so many characters and their special gifts in such a short time - and they're not getting to use their special gifts in a way that helps the main character in any way - it's no setup and payoff... Mediocre at it's best - but the animation and visuals are amazing...

Jupiter Ascending review

Posted : 2 years, 8 months ago on 2 August 2021 07:46 (A review of Jupiter Ascending)

So many says this is one of the worst movies they've ever seen. I disagree.
Yes, its repetitive. Yes, it should be called "Captured - Rescued - Repeat". But even if the story is thin, and the acting is as far as Oscar-nominee you can get - it's still a popcorn-munching movie with great design, Mila Kunis
